In Q2/2022 Danieli Automation awarded an order for upgrading the automation system of Skinpass stand installed on existing HDGL in Galvacolor, Spain.

After all contractual conditions has been achieved thanks to a valuable calibration work, Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) was finally obtained.

Due to obsolescence, the existing VME-based controller has been replaced by a state-of-the art Siemens S71500PLC, including Profinet remote I/O cards, for controlling the technological actuators of the in-line Skinpass stand.

The operator interface has been upgraded as well by implementing WinCC solution. New automation system has been smoothly integrated with existing line tracking PLC for working in automatic mode.

The installation of new control platform and relevant commissioning has been successfully implemented, perfectly according to production plan. In fact, the installation of new control platform and relevant commissioning has been successfully implemented on schedule at beginning of Q4/2022.

Thanks to a fruitful and intensive collaboration with Customer team, Danieli Automation successful completed the planned tasks on time.
