A new order from PJSC Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works, based in Magnitogorsk in the Chelyabinsk Region of the Russian Federation for automation upgrades was awarded to Danieli Automation, following a similar job on rolling mills, now in execution.

Danieli Automation was awarded the order for Process Control Systems based on virtualized servers and new HMI application revamping and for the new Ethernet network infrastructure for galvanizing line, Cut-to-length line and color coating line.

The galvanizing line was supplied by Danieli in 2007

Hardware and software will be substituted with up to date solutions, in order to improve reliability of the process control systems and to ease maintainability.

Advisory services to erection and commissioning will be partially executed during plant production to reduce the remaining activities during plant shutdown.
