Upgrading of automation systems at Tata Steel HDGL, Shotton Works, North Wales
Tata Steel chooses Danieli Automation to modernize its Hot Dip Galvanizing Line automation process systems
Danieli Automation has been selected by Tata Steel UK for the revamping of HDGL No 6 in Shotton works, North Wales.
The revamping activities, based on a turnkey solution, will include the complete line automation replacement, considering new Level 1 system based on the latest platform available in the market, new Level 2 and new DC converters for the existing strip transportation motors.
Danieli Automation will also implement the safety logics on the new automation system, which will be Industry 4.0 ready and suitable for future add-on.
This important order confirms once again Danieli Automation as a reliable supplier of Tata Steel across Europe for strip processing lines revamping projects.
