Danieli Automation acquired the order for the whole electrical and automation modernization of the Bar Rolling Mill, in Almyros, Magnissia (Greece)

The aim of the project is the replacement of the obsolete hardware equipment with a modern technology and the advanced process controls by Danieli Automation.

The mill is a single strand bar rolling mill with slitting in a single line for slower products and a double line with fast finishing blocks, quenching, tail brakers and double twin channel for faster products.

Sovel, after the implementation of a detailed professional safety analysis, chose Danieli Automation for the execution of the electrical and automation upgrade. At the end of the project execution, Sovel plant will satisfy the Machine Directive as requested by the European law.
