In search of excellence, Walsin Liwha has awarded Danieli automation the supply and commissioning of a  new 45MVA + 14%, 11400/650, 420 V, three-phase oil immersed furnace transformer for feeding the EAF Furnace dedicated to the production of stainless steel.

The new transformer is intended to replace an existing aged one and will be manufactured using the best available technology while be inter-changeable with the existing one to fit the limited space and existing connections.

The new transformer will be delivered and commissioned in the second half of 2022.
