Danieli Automation has successfully completed the commissioning for the continuous pickling line E&A revamping and restart at Liberty Magona, Piombino (Italy).

Only six and half months after the coming into force of the contract, Danieli Automation has upgraded electrical and process control for the complete line, providing new automation system (Level 1 and Level 2) and new DC converters for the existing motors.

The first pickled coil was processed one day earlier than the contractual milestone, thanks to the good job performed on site by the commissioning team in cooperation with Customer team.

Line performances in terms of system availability and production have been already achieved and the pickling line is now producing according to nominal target.

This excellent start-up confirms once again the competence and experience of Danieli Automation for processing lines revamping projects.
