Seven plants of GERDAU in Brazil will install the innovative DANIELI QREG to their electrical furnaces.

QREG provides not only control of electrodes based on High performance HiPAC, Process Controller, but also fast data acquisition and processing to analyze in real time process parameters, arc coverage for each electrode, arc stability, radiation index per electrode.

Furthermore the QREG has advanced diagnostic tools enabling a deeper insight on every heat and the behaviour of main process parameters, including visualization of circular diagrams and variables trends and Fast Fourier Transforms.

Together with the advance technological solution, GERDAU in will also benefit of the local assistance and maintenance services of DANIELI DO BRASIL.

With this new order, the count of QREG installations worldwide is getting close to 250.
