Balakovo Steel Works, an high-end minimill plant with an annual production capacity of more than 1 million tons of long products, located in the city of Balakovo (Russia) has honored Danieli Automation with a new order for a HiPROFILE Lite in the existing wire rod line originally commissioned by Danieli in 2013.

The HiPROFILE Lite model PR83070/F/S performs a highly accurate profile measurement of rounds and rebars up to 22 mm.
The system, featuring ultra-fast laser heads and capable of acquiring several hundred profiles per second, allows the real-time 3D analysis of the wire rod and accurate dimensional control during rolling.
The benefits from the installation of these devices are evident by the quality of the products produced. HiPROFILE Lite is considered an essential tool by the most qualified long product producers.
